About Arctips products

The Arctips products are available in three designs, the Arctips Classic wool felt Lappish boot, the Arctips Saga beak boot in wool felt, and the Arctips Traditional Lappish boot in tanned leather. All Arctips products are hand-made in Finland. The colours available are specific to each design; the Arctips Classic is available in seven colours, the Arctips Saga in three colours, and the Arctips Traditional Lappish boot in leather colour and in black.

The Arctips Classic wool felt Lappish boot

The Arctips Classic is of the finest South-African merino wool, which is made into felt fabric in Germany. In Finland, our shoes are hand-made from this fine 100% natural material.

With decades of experience, the shoemakers at the Töysä shoe factory prepare and cut the 100% sheep wool felt fabric and shape it into Arctips footwear.

Wool felt is a foot-friendly material. It adapts well, breathes and transfers excess moisture from the foot or the sock. With its dirt-resistant and durable qualities, felt is also ecological.

Made in Finland, the rubber outsole of the Arctips Classic wool felt Lappish boot retains its flexibility in extreme cold weather. It provides a good grip on both snow and ice.

The shoemakers at the Töysä shoe factory have been making Lappish boots since 1932. The Arctips Traditional Lappish boot is available in leather colour and in black.
